Hi Steven, and welcome to planDisney. I am appreciative of your service in the armed forces, and would be happy to connect you with information about registering for Disability Access Service (DAS) at Walt Disney World Resort.

Each guest seeking to register for DAS must first speak with a Cast Member via video chat. You may register and participate in this chat up to 60 days prior to your park visit, so your window will open on May 4th if you are planning to visit a park on your arrival day. Eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis by Cast Members, so I unfortunately cannot give you a definitive answer based on the details you have described in your question.

In the chat, Cast Members will discuss recommended services with you and make an eligibility decision. If DAS is provided, you will continue with the registration process which includes having your photo taken and selecting your party which will consist of you and three additional guests. Keep in mind that DAS is valid for one year or the length of your ticket, and once a new ticket is required or a year has elapsed you will need to re-register. To schedule your video chat, please visit the DAS website. Chats are available between 7AM and 8PM Eastern Time.

You can also reach out via email to a Cast Member in Disability Services with additional questions, and be sure to review the Accessibility Services that are available for guests with disabilities.

I hope you find this information helpful as you are planning your visit, Steven. I am wishing you a fantastic vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth.

    Stay magical,
    Scott
