Hey there, hi there, Ralph! Welcome to planDisney. We are happy to have you stop by with your question for us!
I am excited to see that you have family who are hoping to visit Disneyland Resort soon.
Halloween time is such a special time in the parks and beyond. As a military family, we enjoy the special offers available to us. If you qualify for the
Disney Military Promotional Tickets, these are an amazing deal. However, if you were going to purchase any, you as the qualifying military member or spouse, need to also use one of the tickets. So in your case, you can purchase them for your son, daughter-in-law, and grandson to use, however, you would also need to purchase one for yourself and be present with your qualifying identification to activate these tickets.
I would check with the military base ticket office to see if they sell standard park tickets. I know our local bases do, and these do not require the military member to use one along with the party. These would be the best option in your case, and usually are discounted as well. Just remind your family that once they get the tickets, they will need to link them to their MyDisney account in the
Disneyland app or on the Disneyland website and make
theme park reservations for the days they want to visit. Theme park reservations are required along with a ticket for entry.
Ralph, thanks so much for stopping by! I hope your family has a visit full of magic!
Carrie
