Hiya Barbara!
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your Dining Plan question. I’m so glad you’re looking into it because the
Disney Dining Plan really can add that extra sprinkle of pixie dust to your Disney World vacation. There’s something so nice about having your meals prepaid. It lets you focus on making memories.
Let’s hop right into it. Disney World currently offers two dining plan options. The
Quick-Service Dining Plan (link provided here) is perfect if your family likes to stay on the go. You can dine at over 100 quick-service locations across the parks and resorts. Just mobile order or step up to the counter, grab your food, and find a seat. No reservations needed.
The
Disney Dining Plan (link provided here) includes both Quick-Service and Table-Service meals. This is a wonderful option if you’d like to mix casual meals with more relaxed dining experiences, including character dining. Think about grabbing a quick lunch between attractions and then slowing down for dinner somewhere special, like
Be Our Guest Restaurant, where you can dine inside Beast’s enchanted castle.
If you’re staying at the
Grand Floridian Resort, you may even choose to enjoy private in-room dining for a cozy, elevated experience. Just keep in mind that some signature or character dining locations may require two Table-Service credits per person, so it’s always good to double-check when planning.
One of my favorite planning tips is to use the
My Disney Experience app to filter restaurants by
dining plan eligibility. And if you decide to add the Dining Plan, be sure to make your Advanced Dining Reservations 60 days before your arrival. Popular spots like Cinderella’s Royal Table can fill very quickly.
Barbara, I hope this helps as you plan your magical meals. If you have any more questions, feel free to visit us again.
See ya real soon,
Christina
