I'm debating on whether or not to keep reservations at Be Our Guest restaurant for 9:15 PM on the night of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. What will we miss at the party by being in the restaurant?

    Hi Tabitha!

I know it is hard to let go of a reservation that was hard to get in the first place so it is best to think through all your options before you hit the “cancel” button. The Be Our Guest Restaurant is located in the Magic Kingdom and has become a favorite of many guests. The decor is quite beautiful and a fun experience when the Beast is in house.

Because you will be dining there the night of the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party it is important to note the times of the special parade and fireworks. Although times can change the parade is usually set to come down the streets at 8:30 and 11pm with the special fireworks going off at 10pm. I highly recommend both of these activities and with your dining time set right in the midst of them I personally would cancel the reservation. If seeing the parade or the fireworks is not of interest to you then keep the dining and enjoy the park before and after.

There will be plenty of quick service locations where you can catch a bite to eat or you can have a late lunch before you arrive and just snack your way through the party. You can also see if there is anything still available at one of the table service locations that require reservations. Check daily as things do open up. If you can find something between 5-7pm that is a perfect plan.

Enjoy this holiday party and be sure to walk down Main Street as it is snowing!
