I’m have a 1-day park hopper ticket and thinking of buying lightning lane multi pass (and book 3 attractions beforehand) for Hollywood Studios. In this case, can I go to different parks on the same day before going to Hollywood Studios?

    Hi there, Kana!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with a question about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Can you believe that you're less than two weeks away from the magic?!?

Since you'll be spending one day in Walt Disney World's theme parks, adding the Park Hopper option to your theme park ticket and purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass is a great way to maximize the value of your ticket and your time! With this in mind, I'm happy to report that as long as you will be using a Park Hopper ticket, the theme park for which you purchased Lightning Lane Multi Pass does not need to be your first destination of the day! You'll just want to select your initial three attractions with return windows later in the day to be sure that you don't miss them.

While you're more than welcome to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass for your second, third, or fourth theme park of the day, to maximize the value of the purchase, you might want to consider purchasing it for the park you'll be visiting first and making your initial selections as early in the day as possible. Once you've redeemed your first experience, you'll not only be able to make a new selection in a different theme park, but to modify your existing selections to attractions in another theme park as well if you desire. Of course, Lightning Lane passes have limited availability, but when I'm traveling solo or with a smaller party, I've had no problem securing same-day passes for some of Walt Disney World's most popular attractions like Slinky Dog Dash and Tiana's Bayou Adventure by refreshing the app periodically. Availability constantly changes as fellow Guests modify their own plans.

Regardless of how you structure your day with Lightning Lane Multi Pass, I recommend beginning your day in my favorite theme park, Disney's Animal Kingdom. Since it typically opens to the public earlier than Walt Disney World's other theme parks, this will allow you to make the most of your day in the magic. Be sure to check the Hours & Events Calendar before your visit so you'll know exactly what time to arrive.

I hope this helps you plan your day, Kana! If you need any additional advice about planning a practically perfect day in The Most Magical Place on Earth, always remember that you've got a friend in planDisney.
