Ahoy, Chantal!
I'm so excited to hear you've booked your very first Disney Cruise Line vacation. If you're like my family, you'll love it so much it will be the first of many!
No need to worry - there should be plenty of awesome Onboard Activities and Port Adventures to choose from when your advance booking window opens at 75 days prior to your sail date. While specific dining times for Adult Exclusive dinners may be unavailable, there will still be lots of time slots available for first-time cruisers! If there are activities (Port Adventures, Character Greetings) with limited space that are fully booked when you log in to reserve activities, I recommend checking back closer to your cruise date. Guests are likely to change some of their plans, and you just might find an opening at that time.
Once you board the ship on Embarkation Day, you can check in with the Cast Members at the
Guest Services Desk regarding any events or activities you may not have been able to reserve online. We were able to reserve a really fun beverage seminar on Embarkation Day on our last cruise! I encourage you to check out all of the
Port Adventures for your sailing prior to your advance booking window opening, so you're ready to reserve them when the time comes. We make a list of the Port Adventures we're interested in, and put them in order of our favorites. I always try to book the ones at the top of our list first!
I hope this helps with your planning and preparation for your upcoming cruise. My fingers are crossed that the pixie dust falls your way, and you're able to reserve some awesome activities and adventures for your family. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
