Hi Moms, I'm going with my daughter soon to WDW, and it's her first visit. I was wondering if you have any ideas for door banners, since we can't really purchase them separate from the "Magical Welcome" package.

    Dear Hibiscus,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning for that special surprise moment!

We frequently plan ahead for a little surprise for our children upon arrival to our room at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Even if you don't do the Disney Floral & Gifts choice (which I will say we have done and been VERY happy with!), you can bring your own items from home as part of the surprise! You can always have the rest of your family hang out in the lobby or elsewhere for a few minutes while you run ahead to prep the surprise.

I highly recommend using only supplies that will not leave any marks or damage to your room or window. That means not using tacky tapes, staples, or anything else that might leave residue. Walt Disney World Resort could charge you damage fees for anything of that type.

Hope that helps with your magical vacation!
