Welcome to planDisney, Sumit! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today.
Disney is committed to making a trip to The Most Magical Place On Earth as accessible as possible for all guests, and one of the ways that they do this is through
Disability Access Service (DAS). This is a program offered to guests who have difficulty tolerating extended waits in a traditional queue environment due to a disability. It doesn't grant immediate access but provides a return time for attractions so that the guest using DAS and their party can spend the wait time out in the Theme Park instead of physically waiting in the standby line. I often travel with a family member who uses DAS, and it's a relief to know that accommodations are in place to make sure that they have a comfortable and safe time at Walt Disney World Resort.
To enroll your daughter in DAS, please visit a
Guest Relations location as soon as you get to your first Theme Park so you can begin using it immediately. You'll speak with a friendly Guest Relations Cast Member about your daughter's needs and how spending time in a physical queue would be difficult for her. You don't need to bring any documentation or provide any medical details, you only need to discuss how the DAS accommodation would be helpful to her. If approved, a DAS tile will appear in the main menu of your
My Disney Experience app and you will be able to book attraction return times this way. You'll be given the next available one-hour return window for the attraction of your choice and you can ride any time after that using the
Lightning Lane!
I hope this answers your question, Sumit, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
