Hi! I'm currently planning our trip for June 2020 and was wondering when does everything get released like extra magic hours, show times (illuminations, fantasmic etc...) Thank you!

    Hi Isabella,

As someone who believes that planning is a big part the fun, I hope you're having a great time dreaming about all of the magic and fun you'll enjoy next summer at the Walt Disney World Resort!

I love that you're thinking through the pieces of your trip already, and I'm happy to let you know that Disney Resort Hotel Packages should open in the next couple of weeks to book for next year! After you have your room booked, the next big step happens 180 days before your arrival when you'll be able to make dining reservations. That 180-day mark is also important because that's when Disney releases park hours, Extra Magic Hours, and parade and fireworks show times, so you can really see your itinerary start to come together. Here's a tip that I recently shared about how to make your dining reservations for your entire stay when Disney hasn't yet released all of the park hours for your stay. I hope it helps!

The last big planning step will be to make your FastPass+ selections. If you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you'll be able to make your selections for the entire length of your trip (up to 14 days) beginning 60 days before your arrival. If you're staying elsewhere, you'll be able to make your selections 30 days in advance, one day at a time.

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Isabella, and please feel free to come back and see us again with more questions as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation next summer!
