I'm currently planning a trip for my family of 5 to WDW this June! We are staying at the WDW Dolphin Resort and I just booked a 7:40am character breakfast at Chef Mickey's which is in the Contemporary Resort. What is the best way to get to there?

    Hi Stacie,

I can't think of a better way to start the day at Walt Disney World Resort than breakfast with Mickey and the gang at Chef Mickey's.

You'll be pleased to know that Complimentary Transportation to and from Disney theme parks, water parks and Disney Springs is available at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. In this instance, your best bet would be to take a bus from your hotel to the Magic Kingdom and then from there, you can either take the monorail or a short (5 - 10 minute) stroll over to Disney's Contemporary Resort.

In my experience, buses tend to start running to the Magic Kingdom at around 6.30am each day. To be on the safe side, I would recommend stopping by the Front Desk at your hotel the day before your reservation to ensure that the buses will be operating in time.

In order to ensure that you arrive at Disney's Contemporary Resort on time for your 7:40am dining reservation, I would recommend that you aim to be at the bus stop by no later than 6:40am.

Should you encounter any problems at all or find yourselves running late on the day of your dining reservation, the Front Desk/Bell Services at your hotel will be happy to call a cab for you which will take you directly to Disney's Contemporary Resort.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
