Im currently planning my honeymoon which is in October, and was curious as to when they will be extending the military discount for park tickets? Also is this a busy period for the parks?

    Hi Nicholas,

First and foremost, congratulations on your upcoming fairy tale honeymoon! I can't think of a better place to spend such a momentous occasion than Walt Disney World Resort. This is exactly where I spent mine and the memories my husband and I created will last a lifetime.

You are in luck, today the new military discount tickets were announced for travel between now and October 2015, with a few exceptions on dates. However, those exceptions shouldn't interfere with your October dates. For more information and how to purchase these tickets, check out this official blog post from the Disney Parks Blog about this special promotion for active duty US military personnel

October is also a great time to visit! I would say this is a low to moderately crowded time of year. While it isn't as crowded as the summer or spring break, some fall breaks and special events take place during this time.

I hope that you will also stop by with more questions during your planning process. We'd love to help you out!
