Hi Julie, and a warm welcome to planDisney today. First and foremost, I am positive you could do nothing but add to the magic of your family holiday! I'm sorry to hear you're having a hard time right now. Let's walk you through the Disability Access Service (DAS).
Walt Disney World provides DAS to Guests who, because of a disability, cannot wait in a typical queue environment. Once DAS is in place, it allows up to five fellow Guests to select return times for experiences rather than waiting in line. As a fellow U.K. resident, I know we can't preregister for DAS. Not to worry, it takes mere moments to obtain DAS once you arrive at any Walt Disney World theme park. Simply speak with Guest Relations to determine if DAS would be a good fit. You must be present for the interview as the person who requires the DAS service. This process must only be completed once for DAS to be valid for your entire trip.
Cast Members are kind and helpful folk, so please ask if there's anything else they can help with, like guidance on storing and refrigerating necessary medicine.
Julie, I sincerely hope this information enables you and all your family to enjoy making many magical memories together at Walt Disney World. Don't forget that Walt Disney World is about
so much more than thrilling rides, and always remember, YOU are the magic! Louise.
