Hi I'm curious if someone who was given a complimentary ticket (from the day the park closed) are you able to reassign that ticket to someone else?

Hey, Shauna, welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. Tickets are one of the most important parts of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and with your trip coming up in just a few days let's jump right in and chat about what you can do with your complimentary ticket.

Shauna, the first thing you'll want to do is open up your My Disney Experience app and select the main menu in the bottom right corner of the screen. Tap on the tile that says "Tickets and Passes," and all the tickets that are assigned to you and your linked family and friends will be displayed on the screen. Swipe through the tickets until you find the one you're looking for, and check if you have the "Reassign Ticket" option available. If it's available, you can select that option and choose the Guest that you want to reassign the ticket to.

If you don't see the option to reassign the ticket, I recommend that you call the hotline for Existing Tickets. A friendly Disney Cast Member will be able to look at exactly what kind of ticket you have and if you can assign that ticket to another Guest!

I hope this answers your question, Shauna, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
