I’m curious how long a typical dinner at Be Our Guest takes? I currently have reservations for 7:15. The day we visit, the fireworks show is at 9:00. I just want to make sure I have time for dinner, meeting the Beast, and seeing the fireworks. Thanks!

    Hi Jaclyn

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am thrilled to hear that you have a dinner reservation for Be Our Guest Restaurant!

To enjoy the full experience including greeting the Beast after dinner, I would suggest allowing at least an hour and fifteen minutes, depending on the size of your party. Although you should be able to exit the restaurant prior to the start of the fireworks show, my concern is that you will not have time to find a decent viewing spot. We always claim our spot at least an hour prior to show time. Also, on our last visit, by the time we finished dinner at Be Our Guest Restaurant, we had to exit through Tomorrowland. Be sure to check the Happily Ever After fireworks schedule for the date of your visit.

Since Be Our Guest Restaurant reservations can be difficult to secure, you may not be able to change the time. I suggest that you do try to arrive a little early. On occasion, we have been seated a few minutes prior to our scheduled reservation time but, on occasion, we have also had to wait a few minutes past our scheduled reservation time. Review the dinner menu prior to your visit so that everyone knows what she or he wants to order. When a cast member comes to serve you, ask if she or he can take your entire order at that time. If you can exit the restaurant by 8:15 p.m., you have a better chance of being able to find a spot to see the fireworks.

Jaclyn, I definitely think you can do it! Just know that the crowds literally can get impassable the closer it gets to the time of the show. If you are traveling with a larger party, I would also be prepared to split the group to find fireworks viewing spots!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
