Hi, Vanessa! Welcome back to planDisney!
I'm so excited to hear that you have an upcoming stay at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort planned! There is truly something I love about each
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, but if I had to choose a favorite, I think Disney's Polynesian Village Resort would have to be it. You cannot beat this resort hotel's location and
transportation options, it has some incredible
restaurants and lounges, and its laid-back island atmosphere makes you feel like you're on vacation the minute you walk through the doors of the lobby.
For someone like me who absolutely adores Walt Disney World Resort's
fireworks and nighttime entertainment, another great advantage to staying at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is its view of
Happily Ever After. Although you might have a great view of the fireworks over
Magic Kingdom Park right from your resort hotel room, you likely won't be able to hear much of the soundtrack. The music is piped in at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort's beaches, so this may be a better place for you to take in the show.
If you would prefer to relax in your resort hotel room while enjoying the fireworks, I do have a couple of suggestions for you. First off, you may want to ask a resort Cast Member if the Happily Ever After soundtrack is broadcast on the resort's televisions. Some of the resort hotels used to offer this, but I'm not sure if this feature carried over after recent refurbishments. Another option would be to search for videos of Happily Ever After online on your smartphone and sync up the audio as you take in the show.
Vanessa, I hope your stay at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is filled with lots of
Dole Whip and island magic! If we can help you with anything else, please don't hesitate to ask. Aloha!
Samantha
