Ahoy there, Taneisha, and welcome to planDisney! How spook-tacular that you’ll be sailing on the
Disney Dream this September. I’d be happy to peer into my crystal ball to uncover all the magical festivities planned for your
Halloween on the High Seas cruise since it’s just around the riverbend.
In fact, you may not even need me because your prediction was accurate! Your 3-Night itinerary will include both
Pirate Night and Halloween hijinks! On Night 2, after your stop at Lookout Cay, pull out your best pirate garb for some swashbuckling fun, complete with fireworks (weather permitting, and hopefully with better luck than Captain Jack Sparrow’s compass!).
Then, on Night 3, after your day in Nassau, dinner attire will be Cruise Casual, but the ship will come alive with festive Halloween fun. Your little ghosts and goblins can enjoy trick-or-treating around the ship, followed by the main event: Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party, a
deck party with music, dancing, and Mickey and friends in their Halloween best. This is one of the few times adults can wear costumes as well, just make sure you check out
Disney’s costume guidelines before finalizing your
packing list.
To make the most of these festive nights, I suggest downloading the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before you sail. Once onboard, it will be your go-to guide for all the spooky fun, showing you all the schedules you need, from the trick-or-treating activities to when the deck parties kick off. You can even “favorite” events in the app, and it will send you a reminder shortly before they begin. That way, you can ensure everyone in your travel crew gets to participate in everything they desire!
Taneisha, with all this magic packed into just three nights, you’re in for a voyage full of memories your family will treasure forever. If any other questions bubble up before you set sail, I hope you’ll head back to us here at
planDisney!
Embrace the magic,
Sami
