If I’m 18, could my cousin, who’s a Florida resident, still get my ticket for me for a resident price? Would I have to show an ID, or would it still work for me? Help!

    Hi, Taylor!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's great that you are planning to visit Walt Disney World with your cousin!

Florida residents have access to a variety of benefits and discounts that would make anyone want to move there! However, those benefits are only available to Florida residents, not to non-resident friends or family members. All tickets purchased at a Florida resident discounted price can be used as long as proof of residency is shown at the gate.
I recommend you go to this link to have a look at the various ticket options available. Once purchased and linked to your My Disney Experience account, you and your cousin can start making your FastPass+ selections (up to 30 days in advance of your visit, make sure you are both connected so that you can make plans together! If you are both staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you will have up to 60 days prior to your stay to make your FastPass+ selections.
Thank you for bringing us your question, Taylor, and please come back with more. We love to help guests!

    See ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
