Hi, Amelie!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your great questions. I bet you’re looking forward to your visit to Walt Disney World later this year!
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is a gorgeous property with recently renovated rooms and scenic plazas, fountains, courtyards surrounding a shimmering lake. The resort is quite large and expansive, so I wouldn’t say that there is just one section that is convenient to everything.
Casitas 1 is directly over the convention center and closest to Pepper Market, Maya Grill, the Main Bus Stop and the front desk. Casitas 3 and 4 provide convenient access to the Casitas Quiet Pool and guest laundry facility. Ranchos 7A and 7B are the closest to the Dig Site, which is a plus if you are traveling with kids. The Cabanas Building 8A is close to both the Cabanas Bus Stop and the Dig Site. Cabanas 9B is close to the main building (which houses Pepper Market) and the Marina, and it is a quick walk to Bus Stop 1. Cabanas 9A is near the Quiet Pool and guest laundry facility.
Keep in mind that Disney tries to accommodate room requests when possible, but they are not guaranteed. For your convenience, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort does offer an internal shuttle service of marked golf carts that can bring you to and from all villages of the resort.
At Maya Grill, try the Pulled Pork Empanada and one of the signature margaritas. Pepper Market also has an extensive quick-service dining menu that offers a wide variety of items—I hear the Crème Brulee French Toast is delicious!
I hope this helps, Amelie, and that you have a perfectly pixie-dusted vacation! Please write back with any other questions you may have as your planning continues.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
