Boo to You, Amanda! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question today; I'm a big fan of all things Mickey-shaped, including pumpkins, and Halloween time at Walt Disney World Resort is one of my favorite times to visit! I love seeing the iconic Mickey pumpkins on Main Street, U.S.A. and
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a spelltacular special event that always brings the spirits of the season to life! And have you seen all the
cute seasonal merch that's going to be available?
With your special event ticket for the Halloween party, you can enter Magic Kingdom Park starting at 4 PM on the day of your party, but the party events don't begin officially until 7 PM. Your ticket allows entry at any point between 4 PM and the end time of the party at midnight, so if you aren't there right on time, you'll still be able to join the fun when you arrive!
I would recommend considering travel time from the airport to your hotel and then factoring in transportation to the theme park following your flight to make sure you will have enough time to get to the party and fully enjoy it. If you're staying as a Guest at a
Disney Resort hotel, you can complete Online Check-In before your arrival so you can bypass the front desk upon arrival, using the
Direct-To-Room Service. This can save you a few minutes as you stop by to drop your bags before catching transportation to the Magic Kingdom. If you do find yourself running late, you can always take a
Minnie Van powered by the Lyft app from your Disney Resort hotel to the theme park to save a little transportation time.
One of the best perks of the parties is that the crowds are lighter, which means lines for attractions are also lower. So even if you arrive a little later, I am confident you will still be able to enjoy many of your favorite attractions as well as special entertainment like
Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and the
Hocus Pocus Villains Spelltacular stage show! Don't forget to trick or treat as you wander through the park, and stop to see your favorite characters decked out in their Halloween costumes! With some new
spooky surprises in store for 2024, you'll be as happy as a grim grinning ghost!
I hope this helps, Rebecca, and I'm wishing you a frightfully fun night full of tricks, treats, and magical Halloween memories! Come back to
planDisney anytime if you have any other vacation planning questions!
Let's Boo This!
