I'm considering upgrading my 10 day park hopper to an Annual Pass. I've read I can do this at Guest Relations. Do the Annual Passholder perks like Memory Maker and dining discounts start right away?

Hello Ashley!  Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Once you inch closer to the 10-day Theme Park Tickets for Walt Disney World Resort, it is in your best interest to weigh the cost-effective value of an Annual Pass.  When I became an Annual Passholder last year, I was unsure that the number of Theme Park visits would justify the cost. In taking advantage of the numerous benefits, Special Offers and discounts available to Disney Annual Passholders, I can honestly say that it has been an extremely valuable investment.

Once you speak with Guest Services at any of the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks or Hotels about upgrading your 10-day Theme Park Tickets to an Annual Pass and it has been activated after initial use, you are able to take advantage of the special offers and discounts available.

Any complimentary Memory Maker photos will be linked to a corresponding My Disney Experience Account. While the process is usually pretty efficient, it can take a few hours or a day or two before some Disney PhotoPass Photos are linked to your account.

You will be required to show your Annual Pass and a form of photo identification to be eligible for any dining or merchandise discounts, but you are able to begin benefiting from those discounts immediately after initial use.

    Happy Saving!
