Hi there, Ron! Welcome to planDisney. You are certainly in for a treat when staying at any of the three Disneyland Resort hotels. My favorite is the Grand Californian because of its beautiful Craftsman-style décor. But of course, the Disneyland Hotel is where all the nostalgia lies for me. You really can't go wrong with any of them! Now, let's make sure you're all squared away from the moment you step into the magic.
You have a couple of options when it comes to
resort hotel parking. Currently, self-parking is $45 (plus tax) per night, per vehicle. If you plan to valet your car, parking is $75 (plus tax) per night, per vehicle. Oversized vehicle parking is $50 (plus tax) per night, per vehicle. When you make your way to the entrance of the hotel, simply let the Cast Member know how you intend to park your car and you should be all set!
When you book your room on the
Disneyland website, you'll first select your travel dates and room type. Then, you'll be prompted to add theme park tickets based on the length of your stay. If you only plan to visit the parks for one day, I'd click the "Continue Without Tickets" button to proceed with your reservation. After you've completed your hotel booking, you can return to the
Disneyland website to purchase your one-day theme park ticket as a separate transaction. This is a great way to spend one of your days relaxing at the hotel and enjoying the pools, especially since August and September are still warm months in Southern California.
Ron, thank you so much for visiting planDisney. I hope this helped clarify your questions about your upcoming stay at the Disneyland Resort. If you have any more questions before your visit or need recommendations, planDisney is here to help!
With a Sprinkle of Pixie Dust,
Bev
