Hi Vanessa, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I love your energy! As a fellow early planner, I’m also already thinking about my 2027 vacations. So let’s chat about staying at
Disney’s Vero Beach Resort for the 4th of July holiday!
I talked to a Cast Member who confirmed that fireworks aren’t allowed in the immediate area, so while you may be able to spot some from a distance, she didn’t think you’d be able to see much. In talking to a few others who have been there during the 4th of July, most didn’t see any fireworks. However, they did say that Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is so much fun for the holiday! While the offerings change each year, past festivities included red, white, and blue tie-dye crafts, patriotic face paint, a flag ceremony, and a glow pool party. The city of Vero Beach and the surrounding areas also typically have 4th of July events and fireworks shows that are just a short drive away.
As you mentioned, the summer is such a special time to visit because of the sea turtle nesting activity. During the nesting season, Disney Conservation Team Wildlife Cast Members are out each morning checking the nests, typically around 7:00 a.m. (but check with the front desk for the latest timing). You can
read about the sea turtle conservation program on Disney Parks Blog.
I’m wishing you a magical stay at Disney's Vero Beach Resort next year! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome back at planDisney.
