I'm considering staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort with my family in January. Are there any construction updates? Can we use the outdoor water park during this time?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amanda!

I have come to think of myself as a kind of spokesperson for Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort during its magical makeover, as I have done a lot of research and still wouldn’t hesitate to stay there with my family!

The main pool area is currently still open for Guest use, as are the quiet pools around the Disney Resort hotel. Where you will notice differences will be with the dining locations. The following Dining locations will be closed during the refurbishment:  Old Port Royale Food Court, Shutters at Old Port Royale, Banana Cabana Pool Bar and Calypso Trading Post. However, Guests are invited to use the Island Markets throughout the Disney Resort hotel, which are located at:

    Martinique: Building 25, Room 2509
    Martinique: Building 25, Room 2509
    Jamaica: Building 43, Room 4308
    Martinique: Building 25, Room 2509
    Jamaica: Building 43, Room 4308
    Aruba: Building 55, Room 5524

You can also use your refillable Resort Mug at one of the many Coca-Cola Freestyle machines located on the first floor of the following buildings:

    Martinique: Building 25
    Trinidad North: Building 31
Trinidad South: Buildings 34 and 38
    Jamaica: Buildings 43 and 46
    Aruba: Buildings 52 and 54

In addition to these offerings, Guests like yourself can find a Quick Service lunch and dinner buffet at Centertown Buffet or Quick Service items at the new Centertown Food Truck.

If you have any concerns during your stay, feel free to stop by your Resort Lobby to discuss with a Cast Member or contact the front desk from your Disney Resort hotel’s room.

    Hope your vacation is magical!
