I'm considering staying at Animal kingdom resort this summer and read that there are nightly bonfires, what time do those run from/until?

    Jambo, Catherine!

I'm thrilled to help you plan your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Thank you for bringing another great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorite resorts. I say that about a few, but it's so serene and beautiful that staying there truly feels like a vacation within a vacation. Resort time is filled with walks through the incredible savannas or one of the amazing activities like the nightly campfires. Depending on the time of year, the campfires are usually held just as the sun sets, sometime around 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

If you decide to stay at the resort, leave a little down time to check out a few of the other opportunities available to Guests. There are often cookie decorating classes, face painting, a culinary tour through the restaurants and more available throughout the day. I adore that there is always something going on and we can always find a new and fun way to learn about the culture or animals.

Happy planning, Catherine, and please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
