I’m considering planning a trip my husband is a retired disabled veteran I know you offer a discount so I’m trying to figure out how much it would cost for 4 adults and 1 child (age 3) and is there a way to pre purchase the wrist bands for park hopper?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Janelle!

Thank your husband and your family so much for all of your sacrifices to our country. I'm an Air Force wife so I know just how much you and your children served too.

As far as your trip, Disney offers a wonderful Military Promotional ticket of either 4 or 5 days in the theme parks that includes Park Hopper option! The current offer must be used by December 19 of this year, but don't fret yet if you were planning to visit next yEAR as Disney has offered a similar deal for the past almost decade. Details for the upcoming year are usually announced in October, so check back around then.

As far as MagicBands, those will be included in your price when you stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, which you may also find a special Military 'thank you' rate. Pro Tip: you'll have to call to inquire about the rate for your dates in questions, and do so as soon as you know what your dates are. You can ask about a specific resort hotel or ask to search them all. One time we even found that the military discount on a moderate resort hotel was even lower than the non-discounted price of a value!

Should you stay elsewhere, like Shades of Green, you do have the option to purchase a MagicBand in advance of your trip from ShopDisney.com. Although you will find a bigger selection of bands once you get to Walt Disney World Resort as there are number of in-person-only exclusive designs, some that are themed to specific parks, festivals, rides, characters and snacks.

I hope this helped Janelle and We'll See You Real Soon!
