I'm considering a pirate themed room in Trinidad at the carribean resort, but I keep reading how far it is away from the Old Port Royale because the resort is so big. How far of a walk is it really from Tridad to the resort resteraunts? Is it walkable?

    Hi Tamara!

The pirate themed rooms are a lot of fun, especially if you have fans of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies or just pirate fan in general.  Unfortunately, it's also true that the rooms are a relatively long walk away from the main building / food court of the Caribbean Beach Resort.  The length of time depends on how fast you walk, and especially if you have young tired children in tow; however, I tell guests to plan on it taking 10 to 15 minutes with the longer time really reserved for guests with young children who will be walking slowly, especially after a full day in the parks!  However, it's definitely walkable and I find it a relaxing walk, except on very hot and humid days.

Good luck with your decision and write back if you have any more questions!
