Hi, I'm considering a Caribbean cruise for Jan/Feb 2013. There will be 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 kids, ages 6, 10 and 12. What is the deposit required? Also, which cruise would you recommend more, the Western or Eastern? Thanks!

    Hi again Alix!

I'm thrilled you are considering a Caribbean cruise onboard one of the beautiful Disney ships!  Your deposit amount depends on the total cruise cost you are quoted on Disneycruise.com.  When you are exploring the website, you can get an idea of what your cruise total will be by inputting your date, destination, departure port, family info and clicking "Find Cruises."  Your deposit will most likely be around 20% of the total listed.

My family has experienced both the Eastern and Western itinerary, and we love them both!   Both itineraries include my favorite port of call, Castaway Cay which is Disney's elusive private island.  If you think your family would enjoy the ship as your destination more than the islands, you may want to consider the Eastern.  With three glorious sea days, you will have more time to explore this spectacular vessel from bow to stern! The Western Itinerary is more port intensive with only two days at sea.  A wide variety of exciting Port Adventures are offered on both of these Caribbean sailings.

I hope this information helps you make your decision!  Thanks for giving me the opportunity to assist you again!

    Have a magical day!

    Nancy
