    I'm considering buying an annual pass for myself and regular hopper passes for the 3 other members of my family. That way I can get the discounts on dining, parking, photopass etc. Are there any drawbacks to doing this?

    Hello Amy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    I am a Disney Annual Passholder and purchase Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park Tickets for my wife and kids when we go on vacations.  I realized that if I used the benefits of being an Annual Passholder and waited to purchase tickets for my wife and kids when a suitable offer arose, I could save a considerable amount.

    The only drawback would be if the 3 other members of your party are going to be visiting the Theme Parks often enough to make it more cost-effective to get an Annual Pass for them (if individual ticket costs for a year add up to more than the cost of a Pass). You must also remember to use the benefits (I sometimes forget to tell Cast Members that I have an Annual Pass).

    In the past 6 months, I have used my Annual Passholder benefits to:
    Each time, my family benefited from my Annual Passholder benefits despite not being Passholders, themselves.
