Hi, I'm considering bringing my 8 year old over for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas this year; if it's not just the 2 of us it may be 4. I don't see specific dates and times and where would you recommend staying? Also do I need to have a credit card to use?

    Hi Christanell!

That is awesome that you are considering experiencing Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, because it is a fun event!  The dates for the party are held on specific dates between November 8, 2013 to December 20, 2013. If you go to the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party part of the Disney World website and click the blue "Purchase Tickets" button, it will take you to the calendar with the actual available dates highlighted in blue. The party is held from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM, plenty of time to load up on cookies and hot chocolate.

I  would recommend taking a look at the following resorts:
    1. Value Resort - Disney's Art of Animation Resort
    2. Moderate Resort - Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter
    3. Deluxe Resort - Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge
All of the resorts at Walt Disney World Resort are great and no matter where you choose to stay, you will love it.

You do not have to have a credit card to enjoy your vacation. You are welcomed to use cash or the Disney Gift Card for all of your purchases.

Please let us know if you have additional questions and have a magical day!
