I'm confused about the waiting process for Jedi Training Academy. A friend (who just visited HS) said if you are given a time to return to the JTA you actually need to stand in the line all day in order for your child to be able to participate. True?

    Hi Malynda.

Thanks for your question.  The process for enrolling your young Padawan in the Jedi Training Academy has changed.  At one time all the younglings would stand in front of the stage jumping up and down screaming, "Pick me, pick me!!"  It left a lot of sad little ones when the 15 would be chosen for each training session with the Jedi Master and the ensuing fight with Lord Vader.  The process now, is you sign up for an upcoming show and you are given the time your little participant needs to be there for wardrobe.  Once you are signed up, someone from your party must wait in line.  Our three children tried the old way and under the new system.  They were never chosen under the old system, but were delighted to be enrolled in the new system and took turns waiting in line which for us was through two training sessions. It was a wait of just over one hour, but it was so worth it!

Take the time and bring your video recorder as this is a 'not to be missed' opportunity to see your child walk the path to becoming a Jedi Knight!

May the force be with you!
