I'm confused about the so-called reservation system. I bought park hopper tickets, but apparently can't make any reservation for any of the parks I want to visit. So what does that mean? I have tickets but I can't actually go to any park?

    Hiya James!

Welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet. Oh my goodness, James, your magical vacation is coming so soon! How excited are you? I know I would not be able to sleep! You will be visiting at such a magical time with the World's Most Magical Celebration in full swing, and you will also be able to experience so many fun springtime offerings.

Now, let's talk about theme park reservations! Gone are the days when parks would fill up to capacity before you could walk through the gates. With theme park reservations, you are guaranteed entry to your selected park, which is especially great during peak seasons! It is recommended that you make your theme park reservations as soon as you have purchased your tickets since theme park reservations are subject to availability. However, by looking at the theme park reservation availability calendar, it does seem that there is some availability left right in time for your arrival! Make sure your theme park tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account and make sure that is the case for your whole party as well. Then, you should be able to make your theme park reservations. For the days that are already booked up, make sure to check back on them over the next few days. Theme park availability can vary, and Disney sometimes releases more reservations for busy days!

Although the theme parks have so much to offer, the fun does not have to stop there! The Disney Resort hotels have many unique offerings that you can only experience there. I always love visiting Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa to look at the beautiful Easter eggs made by the Grand Floridian Bakery. The talent these Cast Members have is phenomenal, and I always have so much fun looking at what they come up with each year! While looking at these beautiful chocolate sculptures, you might get hungry, so hop to the Grand Cottage for some Easter-themed treats. Similarly, you can find more chocolate sculptures at Disney's Contemporary Resort inspired by the famous Mary Blair's art!

I hope this was helpful, James, and that you and your loved ones get to experience all the magic on your upcoming Disney vacation! If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit or need some last-minute recommendations, we are always happy to help. Answering your questions makes our day eggs-tra special!

    Have a magical day,
