Salut Jonathan!
Welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet. I am so glad you sent us your magical question, as I was so excited to see a fellow Québécois in our queue! I am honoured to be a part of your planning process, and I cannot wait for you to soak in all the magic in Florida's warm, sunny weather!. How excited are you to be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the
World's Most Magical Celebration? I know I would be thrilled!
Now, let's talk about how you can make sure everyone's tickets are linked to experience the magic together! First, make sure that your mother does not have two profiles! I know my mother accidentally created two accounts, which caused a similar issue and a bit of confusion! Second, make sure that that profile has the right ticket linked to it. To do so, you can log into your father's account and click on "My Plans" under the
My Disney Experience tab online. Then, click on "Tickets & Memory Maker," and you should be able to see if your mother has a ticket assigned to her account. Also, make sure that you each
have the same type of theme park admission. For example, if you purchased a package with a hotel reservation and theme park tickets, your parents will also have to be linked to a resort reservation. Otherwise, you will have to make your reservations separately. Lastly, if you are still experiencing issues,
contact a Cast Member via chat, email or phone. Since there, unfortunately, is not a phone number available for Canadians, fees may apply. Therefore, I suggest using the chat feature online or calling at the beginning or end of the day when wait times are typically shorter.
When you and your family arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort, you must plan some time to visit EPCOT! I always love stopping by the Canada pavilion, looking at the Château Frontenac and grabbing poutine for lunch. Also, you will be visiting during the
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, my favourite! With its incredible sights, its themed topiaries, its unique food offerings and its special activities, this festival is sure to make your vacation memorable. One of my favourite things to do is try all the different treats that are only available during the festival. Over at Flavor Full Kitchen, you must try the Corn on the Cob and the Blood Orange Agua Fresca! They are a must-try in my book.
I hope this was helpful, Jonathan, and that you and your family will have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation! If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are always happy to help, especially from one Québécois to another!
Have a magical day,
Ariane
