Welcome to planDisney, Grace! You're just a few days away from visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth and I know you must be so excited for all the magic you are about to experience! Let's get right to your question so you can finish packing and planning your magical days!
Grace, if you have date-based theme park tickets,
theme park reservations are no longer required! If you are traveling with a student group, using sports or convention event tickets, an Annual Pass, or other select ticket types, you will need to make a theme park reservation for each day. With your park hopper ticket, you only need to reserve your first theme park for each day and can then freely hop to any other theme park without a second reservation!
To verify if you need a reservation, you can visit the page to
make a theme park reservation online and it will show if your ticket type requires reservations. If not, you are good to go! If so, follow the steps to make your reservations; if your plans change, you can revisit the page to modify your existing theme park reservations, subject to availability! You can also make your theme park reservations using the
My Disney Experience mobile app; just click the three horizontal lines at the bottom right-hand corner and then select "Park Reservations" and then follow the prompts to make or modify a reservation; this process will verify whether you need to make a reservation. If you do not, you will see a message that says no reservations are required.
Grace, I hope this is helpful! I am sure you will have a magical time this week! Be sure to make time to visit the
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival as it kicks off the springtime season - the character topiaries are my favorite! If you have any other questions as you finalize your plans, come on back to
planDisney and let us know! We'll be waiting to make magic with you!
See you real soon,
Alison
