Hey, Stacey!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Disney PhotoPass Service and Memory Maker are as "confusel" as Heffalumps and Woozels. Capturing the magic at Walt Disney World Resort is super easy. Let me help you unscramble this confusion.
Disney PhotoPass Service is a free service where a Disney PhotoPass photographer or attraction, such as Space Mountain, takes the photo for you and you may purchase it later. This way no one is left out of the moment. All photos can be shared among Guests in your party as well as those
linked to your My Disney Experience account. Disney PhotoPass photographers as so generous, they will even take pictures with your own camera if you are looking to save money. These photos will not be linked to your Disney account.
You may link your Disney PhotoPass magical moments to your Disney account with a touch of your MagicBand, Memory Maker card, park admission card or Disney PhotoPass Card.
Memory Maker is offered through Disney PhotoPass service and allows you to download all Disney PhotoPass photos linked to your Disney account at no extra fee.
Setting up Memory Maker is as easy as whistling zippity-do-dah. If you will want more that 14 photos (we always do) then it is a great value.
Disney Dad Tip: Please ask your PhotoPass photographer about
Magic Shots. These staged photos insert Disney characters like Tinker Bell and Olaf added into the image with you. How fun!
Stacey, enjoy your first visit and making many Magical Memories.
