I'm confused about the 60 day reservations. Can I book the full 2 weeks of reservations on that one day (when myb60 days start) or do I do it on each of the corresponding 60 days? Also when is the December schedule out?

Hey Howdy Hey Siobhan and welcome to planDisney!

So glad to see you are getting your planning thoroughly researched as the days get closer to your big trip later this year! The 60-day mark can be a little confusing, especially for our friends across the pond so let's get into the specifics.

The 60-day mark applies, at this moment, only to advanced dining reservations for Guests staying at a Disney Resort Collection hotel. 60-days from their date of arrival, Guests can start making their advanced dining reservations at all Walt Disney World Resort dining locations. Also at the 60-day mark, you can make reservations for 10 days of your reservation. So if you are staying in Walt Disney World for 10 days, you are able to make dining reservations for the full length of your stay at the 60-day mark. If you are staying longer than 10 days, unfortunately, those last four days will fall into your reservation capabilities each day after the 60-day mark of your original date of arrival.

With regards to schedules for the parks, I would expect over the next couple of months Disney to release the preliminary schedule for November. I will advise you to take this lightly as Disney has been known to tinker around with park hours and such as the days start getting closer. This is also true of things such as Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Theme Parks Hours. So make sure you double-check the hours the closer you get to your date of arrival.

I am sure you are starting to look into various places to make your dining reservations, but I have one big recommendation for you and it involves a high flying adventure around the resort with Disney Skyliner. This unique form of transportation will give you views of Wat Disney World you have never seen before all while enjoying a relaxing ride. The Skyliner connects to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios as well as several resorts, Disney's Riviera Resort being my recommendation. You can look into Topolino's Terrace-Flavors of the Riviera for a rooftop view overlooking the grounds which can be a fantastic way to spend an evening.

I hope this information helps to clear things up for you. Best wishes on the continued planning for your upcoming holiday and we cannot wait to welcome you to the Most Magical Place on Earth real soon! Let us know if you have any further questions.

    Happy planning,
