I'm so confused we are coming in Nov .2021. I have no idea what needs to be done how to do it. Where to start? What needs to be done. When needs to be completed by.

    Hi Sam!

    Welcome to planDisney!

I am delighted to hEAR that you are planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Yes, it can be overwhelming at first, but once you start navigating My Disney Experience, you will become a Disney travel planning pro! First, create a My Disney Experience Account. Once you create that account, then check the theme park reservation availability calendar for the dates of your visit to be sure there is park pass availability.

Next, search for a vacation package (resort hotel and theme park tickets). On the vacation package planning page, click on Book your Walt Disney World Vacation today. Enter the dates of your visit, number of people in your party, and any ages of children traveling with you. Then search packages. Once you select a package, you can reserve it by paying a deposit. Once you have paid that deposit, you should receive a confirmation number. Use that confirmation number to link your vacation package to your My Disney Experience account.

After you get that vacation package linked, you should be able to see it in My Plans. Just go to the Walt Disney World website, click on My Disney Experience and click on the link that says My Plans. Once you click on that link, you should see your vacation package reservation and a link to Make a Payment. So, you can make payments on your package any time! Just be sure to pay off the balance by the due date.

Then, make Disney Park Pass system reservations for everyone in your party. Even though it seems like your trip is in the distant future, I highly recommend that you make those park pass reservations now. With your trip occurring during The World's Most Magical Celebration, I anticipate lots of visitors.

As you get closer to your trip dates, make advanced dining reservations 60-days prior to your arrival date. Make these reservations right at the 60-day mark. I always get up by 5:45 a.m. on our dining reservation day. And I reserve the most popular restaurants first (i.e. Cinderella's Royal Table and Be Our Guest Restaurant). As you select dining locations to reserve, take a look at the menus of each restaurant so that you can review the food options and prices. Just go to the home page of each restaurant and click on View Menu. Once you make those dining reservations, they should link in your My Disney Experience account. If you do not see them in My Plans, you can link them using the confirmation number.

Finally, if you are flying, review the information about Disney's Magical Express® which still should be available for your arrival dates.

Sam, I hope this helps you get started! Book that vacation package as soon as possible. Happy planning!

    Magic and memories,
