Hiya Connie and welcome to planDisney!
Planning a trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort definitely has some new steps to think about. But not to worry, planDisney is here to help you figure out that Magical Order of Operations. Follow me!
Step 1: You need your
Tickets to book a
Theme Park Reservation via the Disney Park Pass System. Since you're interested in a 2024 Vacation Package, you'll have to wait until those are released, which if I'm going by tradition, won't be until the summer of 2023. Once those packages are released you'll get it all booked which will bring you to step 2.
Step 2. You can begin making Theme Park Reservations via the Disney Park Pass System after booking your package. You'll want to check the Theme Park Availability Calendar to make sure that the Disney Parks you want aren't at capacity on the days you want them. Then you'll be able to reserve them as availability dictates.
Pro-tip: Make sure to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar before booking and to make those Theme Park Reservations as soon as you've booked. It's much easier to change reservations than to not have made them at all and lose out on the dates you wanted.
Connie I know even though it's too early to book your 2024 visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, it's not too early to start working on a game plan. What I usually do is look at the prices for the current year with the exact specs that I want. From there I can usually get at least an idea of how much to start saving. Even if there are changes in price before 2024, you can at least have a baseline to work with. If you have any more questions,
please come back and see us!Happy planning!
