Hi Kelly,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for coming to us with your question. My family loves a split stay, where we switch resorts in the middle of our vacation. It makes for double the amazing Walt Disney World Resort theming, double the Disney details to explore, double the awesome pool time, double the delicious dining selection…need I go on? I’m so excited for you to have double the fun on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!
I have a split stay coming up this summer, and I ran into this exact question when making my dining reservations. I wanted to make a reservation for brunch at
Boma – Flavors of Africa (and now I’m drooling thinking about the Pecan Praline Sauce with Mickey Waffles) for my second resort stay, and I was unable to do so until 180 days from my check-in at resort two.
For your stay at
Disney’s Pop Century Resort stay, you’ll be able to
make dining reservations 180 days in advance of your check-in date for the length of your stay at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. You will then be able to make reservations for the days you’ll be staying at
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge starting 180 days from your check-in at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. This means you’ll be able to make dining reservations for the days you’re staying at Pop Century on May 3 and the days you’re staying at Wilderness Lodge on May 7. I also recommend playing around a little to see what you can do when you log in on May 3, because you never know when you might find pixie dust in the system.
Have so much fun on your split stay, Kelly! You’ve chosen two excellent resorts, and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is particularly beautiful during the holiday season. Soak in all the holiday magic as the parks and resorts transform from
spooktacular Halloween fun to
holly jolly holiday delights!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
