I'm concerned about carrying money in the parks. What is the best way to handle it? We are a cash only family no credcards - so it is making it little complicated. Can we charge most things to our room and pay cash at end of day/trip?

Hi Deidra!  Definitely don't take a lot of cash with you when you are visiting the parks. There are too many great thrilling rides where loose things can fall and become lost.  The number of sunglasses alone found at the bottom of attractions is too numerous to count!

Almost everything can be charged to your room using the room card. Make sure you have signed the back and bring along proof of ID. When you check in please let them know this is how you would like to handle your purchases during your trip.  Every couple of days you might need to visit the front desk of your resort to pay on your balance due. Discuss this when you check in. I know when we have charged a lot to our room and have left a credit card they will "hit" the card when a balance due gets to a certain amount. You can also put cash down on your account and charge things as you go by doing it this way.  The front desk cast members will discuss these options with you and you can decide which is best for your situation.

Please keep any cash you might be carrying in the room safes. If your room should not have a safe then please ask the resort to keep anything of value in the resort safe under your name.  Disney is indeed magical but anything can happen to anyone in any place!
