Hi I'm coming to wdw but are not staying at a disney resort. We will be having 4 days in the parks and my daughters 3rd birthday is in the middle. I've read she doesn't need a ticket if 2 on first day is that correct or only if staying at disney?

    Heigh-Ho Kathryn!

Happy birthday to your daughter! Walt Disney World is my favorite place to celebrate a birthday! I, like you, had heard the person's age on the first day of their Disney trip is considered the person's age during that entire trip. However, when I called to verify this information, the cast member informed me that if a child enters a park gate when they are 3 years old, then they are required to have a park ticket.

If you would like to verify the information prior to your ticket purchase, then I suggest calling (407) W-DISNEY.

I hope you have a magical, fantastical vacation!
