I'm coming to WDW December. My check-in date at Port Orleans French Quarter is December 23. I will be in the parks the 24 thru 29. When can I book dining reservations? Is it 60 days out from the 23? At what time can I book dining and is that time EST?

    Greetings, Justin!

Welcome back to planDisney! I am so glad to see that you are planning a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth this winter. December is a great month to visit. The Walt Disney World Resort holiday festivities will be going strong during your stay. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year to visit. You may even catch a few snowflakes on Main Street U.S.A. It is absolutely magical. As your arrival gets closer, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the marvelous holiday experiences coming to the parks.

Justin, you can book your Disney dining reservations 60 days from your check-in date. You can also book an additional nine days out from that date. This is one of the many amazing benefits for Guests of Walt Disney World Resort hotels. You can book 10 days of reservations, rather than booking one day at a time. The booking window is around 5:45 AM ET, so set your alarm and grab a cup of coffee! Pro tip: Make a list of all of the reservations you would like to make for your travel party. Put them in order of highest priority and book those reservations first. Then work your way down the list. Reservations for popular locations including Chef Mickeys and Be Our Guest tend to go fast, so if these incredible spots are on your must-do list, I suggest reserving those dining locations first.

While we are on the topic of reservations, I want to mention the Disney Park Pass reservation system. Currently, all four theme parks require a reservation in addition to a valid theme park ticket. Walt Disney World is a popular and magical place to visit during the holidays, and some park reservations can be fully booked well in advance. If you have already purchased your tickets or vacation package, I recommend reserving your spots as soon as possible. There is no need to wait for that 60-day mark for these reservations!

I hope that your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
    We'll see ya real soon!
