    I'm coming to WDW with my daughter and parents. To give my parents an evening to themselves and a thank you for everything they do for us, I have reserved a table for them at the California grill. How do I go about paying for the meal?

    I'm so excited you've planned a practically perfect holiday to Walt Disney World Resort with your lovely princess and dear parents; in my experience there's nothing more magical than a multi-generational trip! 
    A surprise thank you meal for your parents at the California Grill is just delightful; it really is a top restaurant in so many ways! Be sure to let them know Guests who are dining at the California Grill have exclusive access to the observation deck to enjoy Wishes Nighttime Spectacular.
    I've had a little think about how to discretely pay for their meal without actually handing them the cash or you being there in person...  
    - When you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort visit any Guest Services or Disney merchandise location and purchase Disney Gift Cards or Disney Dollars to the estimated value of their dinner. 
    - Upon check-in at Walt Disney World Resort hotel's Guests from outside of the United States of America are issued with their Magic Bands.  For ease of payment in and around Disney Property Guests may link Magic Bands with a current credit card. Plus with the assistance of a knowledgeable Cast Member at Guest Services also make credits onto other Walt Disney World Resort Guests accounts.
    So by you making a credit to the estimated value of your parents meal would mean they can settle the bill at the California Grill by simply touching a touch point with their Magic Band and entering a pre-set personal PIN.
