Hi I'm coming to wdw in august with my family. This year is a big year for most of us with big birthdays and anniversaries happening and I want to suprise everyone. But I need some help with what to do. Like booking a cake with a meal or storybook mome

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Georgina!
I have come to discover a Walt Disney Word Resort trip is more special when you can find a way to surprise the family.

One of my favorite ways to surprise my family is with a special treat during a big dinner. Sometimes I purchase a custom cake from a Disney Bakery. You can call Walt Disney World Resort at (407) 827-2253 to set up an order. Make sure you order a custom cake at least 72 hours in advance. You must have a reservation at a restaurant for the cake delivery to work.

Also in the past, I had ordered customized decorations using items from Disney Floral & Gifts to surprise family when they arrived in their rooms.

Another way I've surprised my family is with an extraordinary tour. Take a look at Walt Disney World's Special Events & Tours page.

Have fun putting together something that will surprise and thrill everyone! Let me know if I can answer any other questions that come up before your trip.

I’m a mom, wife and goldendoodle dog owner who is not afraid to ride a fast roller coaster again and again. I love to travel - which is good since I telework with a job in Washington, DC. I’ve visited Disneyland and Walt Disney World multiple times and it’s fed into my belief that you’re never too old to have fun. I run when I can and recently earned my runDisney Coast to Coast medal! I also love photography and founded an online special needs community. Learn More About Jen
