    I'm coming to Walt Disney World in a couple weeks (staying at All Star Resort) and I'm trying to purchase my magic band in advance at the discounted rate but cannot see this option in my disney experience. How do I claim the discount?

    Welcome to planDisney! I can't believe you are now less than a month away from your magical holiday! It is the perfect time of year to visit as crowds tend to improve so much that month. 

    I am sorry to say that right now, the advance purchase of DisneyBands (also known as MagicBands) is not available to international guests. You will have to wait until you arrive to purchase these lovely and functional accessories. All of the Disney All-Star Resorts (Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, Disney's All-Star Music Resort, and Disney's All-Star Sports Resort) should have in their shops a selection available for purchase or you can head to Disney Springs and find many retailers who sell them there. My family has had the best success at any Disney Resort Hotel, World of Disney, and strangely enough- Disney's Pin Traders in Disney Springs. 

    I'm sorry I don't have better news for you but I promise that you will find a pretty awesome selection once you arrive. 

    I hope you still have a magical time and don't forget to visit the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. There are some unique offerings this year with the weirdest item being the Pickle Milk Shake at Brew-Wing Lab at the Odyssey!
