Hello, I’m coming from the UK on 27th April and have already paid for my 2 week park ticket but now you have announced the return of annual passes, can exchange the 2 week ticket for an annual pass if I pay the difference? Thanks

    Hi Charlotte,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question. I was SO excited to hear that sales of new Walt Disney World Annual Passes were going to be resuming later this month! Although I was lucky enough to be able to renew my pass for the past few years, my family members let theirs lapse and we really missed being a Passholder family.

While I can’t give you a definitive answer about upgrading your 14-Day Magic Ticket to an Annual Pass at this point, what I can say is that, based on past experience, Guests have been able to do so in the past by applying the value of what they paid for their ticket towards the new Annual Pass. Because I presume that you actually purchased your ticket (and that it wasn’t, for example, a complimentary or discounted Ticket, purchased as part of a vacation package) there is a very good chance that you’ll be able to upgrade it by visiting Guest Relations at any Theme Park or even the Welcome Center at Disney Springs. The Cast Member who will help you at either location will be able to give you more details about your options.

I hope my answer helps you plan even more Disney fun for the rest of the year! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
