Hi! I'm coming to Orlando for a wedding and would like to drop in at one of the theme parks for a day... my daughter is 5 & my son 3 any advice on which park would be the best? and can I reserve dining with a character . Thanks, Christina

Hi, Christina!    With young children, Magic Kingdom would be your best choice.   There are so many kid-friendly attractions, characters, and restaurants.   There will plenty to fill your entire day, so arrive early!

There is a lot of walking, so plan to either bring a stroller or rent one when you arrive.   You will get much more out of your day if your kids can rest their little legs!

If you want to do character dining, I suggest booking a meal at the Crystal Palace (located right inside the Magic Kingdom.)  Here, you can dine with Pooh and his friends at breakfast, lunch or dinner.   Dining reservations can be made up to 90 days in advance by calling (407)WDW-DINE.

Have a great time at the wedding and also enjoy your day in Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
