Hi I’m coming to Orlando on Apr 22nd morning and directly heading to magic kingdom park. On that day there is evening EMH So my question is can I use EMH before checking into Disney listed hotel on same day with valid confirmation number?

    Hi Vilas,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

I often head straight to the Theme Parks when I arrive in the Orlando area, so I can understand your desire to get straight to the fun! Based on my experience, if your resort reservation is properly linked to your MagicBand, you should be good to go and experience Extra Magic Hours at Magic Kingdom Park during your first day of your vacation.

That being said, I still recommend that you make time to go to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel before heading to the Parks, if at all possible. That way, you can make sure that your MagicBand unlocks your hotel room door and iron out any unlikely, but potential, glitches with your resort charging privileges and other “linking” issues that may arise. Sometimes, losing a few minutes of fun is worth it to prevent losing any time later.

Have a great vacation and please come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
