I’m coming in October do u still need to get boarding pass for rise of resistance at Hollywood studios? And me and my wife have our season passes and they are activated but my daughter and grandson have not picked there’s up yet will they be at resort/park

Bright suns, Eric!  Thanks for stopping by planDisney on your way to the planet Batuu!

It sounds like you are preparing for an exciting adventure at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.  As a lifelong Star Wars fan, setting foot in this immersive new land and seeing the Millennium Falcon for the first time was a childhood dream come true for me!  I have traveled to Batuu several times now, and each time that I return to explore Black Spire Outpost, I marvel over the new details that I discover.

If you're hoping to join Rey and the rest of the Resistance in an epic battle against the First Order at Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, you will need to join a virtual queue.  Currently, Guests visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios have the opportunity to join the virtual queue at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.  To be assigned a virtual queue boarding group, all of the Guests in your party wishing to join must be inside Disney's Hollywood Studios and connected to your My Disney Experience account.  At one of the boarding group distribution times, you will need to open your My Disney Experience mobile app, make sure you are logged into your account, and select "Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Virtual Queue" on the home screen.  You can then follow the prompts to join the virtual queue.  If you are successfully assigned a boarding group, be sure to turn on your push notifications so that you will be notified when it is your time to return and battle the First Order.  The procedure for accessing the virtual queue is subject to change at any time, so I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all of the latest news.

Eric, if I am understanding you correctly, it sounds like your daughter and grandson have already purchased annual passes but have not yet activated them.  If this is the case, be sure to link those passes to My Disney Experience.  This will need to be done in order to make your Disney Park Pass reservations.  Then when your family arrives at Walt Disney World Resort, your daughter and grandson can go to any ticket window with their annual pass confirmation number and a photo ID to activate their annual passes.

If you have any additional questions, hop aboard the Millennium Falcon, make the jump to light-speed, and set a course for planDisney!  May the Force be with you!
