I'm coming in October hoping to enjoy food and wine events but I have a 7 & 8 year old. I don't see too many rides and mostly food and adult fun. thoughts? i switched my fast pass selections to MK for now.

    Hi Janelle,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in October!

Although I love all of the theme parks, I would definitely recommend visiting Magic Kingdom Park with your two Mouseketeers since there are so many attractions geared for younger Guests. Don't miss Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and Happily Ever After, which are "must do" experiences for my family when visiting the iconic park.

If you have multiple days to spend at the parks, I do think your kiddos would enjoy the entertainment options and attractions at Epcot. My list of "can't miss" attractions at Epcot includes: Test Track, Frozen Ever After, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, Mission: SPACE and Soarin' Around the World. My family previously attended the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival when my twins were around the same age as yours. Although the twins were not very interested in stopping by a ton of the marketplaces, they didn't mind if we occasionally stopped at one on the way to another attraction. That being said, if you only have one day to spend at the parks, my pick would be Magic Kingdom Park based on the ages of your children.

I hope this information has been helpful in making the best decision for your family. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to stop by again. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip!
