I’m coming on November 8th and would like to know if you have to leave the magic kingdom if you are attending the very merriest that same Evening. Also can I eat dinner in the magic kingdom in between waiting for merriest. Thanks

Merry Christmas in July, Paul! As a fellow admirer of the most wonderful time of year, I can see that you are excited to celebrate the holiday season at Mickey and Minnie’s Florida home!

Guests attending the Disney Very Merriest After Hours event at Magic Kingdom Park do not have to leave the park and then reenter for the special ticketed event. In fact, Guests with Disney Very Merriest After Hours tickets can actually enter the park as early as 7:00 PM even though the party doesn’t officially begin until 9:00 PM! That is a great benefit of this event! Guests in Magic Kingdom Park who do not have tickets for the event will be required to leave the park at the posted park closing time. The Cast Members in the park are very efficient at identifying non-ticket holders and politely reminding them that the park is closed to regular ticket-holders and requiring that they leave the park.

Paul, you are also welcome to enjoy dinner in Magic Kingdom Park as you wait for the after-hours festivities to begin! Keep in mind that not all dining locations will remain open for after hours. Be sure to check the hours for any dining locations of interest! Hours for each restaurant are listed on their individual page on the Walt Disney World Resort website!
